Karol Wojtyła 2nd General Secondary School

 



 



Karol Wojtyła 2nd General Secondary School (LO 2) in Lębork is a comprehensive four-year school with more than 300 students aged between 14-19 years old. The school was first opened in 1947 as Seminar for Educators, then in 1991 transformed into General Secondary School. The school is subject to the Ministry of Education in Poland. It is specialized in four subjects: languages, humanities, biology-chemistry science, general (with emergency medical preparation). Our students and workers, almost all of Polish nationality, can be generally described as representatives of the middle class, coming from very similar cultural backgrounds. Female students and teachers constitute a strong majority. The school offers some extracurricular activities, including foreign languages, dance classes and individual tutorials. The students willingly participate in various competitions on different levels. They succeed in sports as well as in history, economics, languages and first aid competitions. The community is well integrated and open to new projects.
